You don’t often see watches made with an aluminum case. Which is exactly why Hamilton made one: the Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer. The main benefit of the aluminum case? It’s both strong and super lightweight—so lightweight, in fact, that you’ll hardly notice the watch on your wrist. Another key element of this aviation-style watch is the bidirectional rotating bezel. Operated with the crown at 2 o’clock, the bezel allows you to keep track of elapsed time. Inside the 100-meter water resistant matte-black aluminum case is Hamilton’s own H-10 movement, which boasts an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. To protect the dial and to prevent scratches and dings, there’s a sapphire crystal, too. Like a traditional pilot’s watch, the Arabic numerals are large and legible, with military markings just outside of them.
