So I am a bit confused about where this watch is made(assembled), as pics show a USA strap and no where on the watch can I find "Swiss Made" or Swiss mention (except for the movement - checking other sites with more photos of this watch). Makes me think that this was a contact made watch for Hamilton with a Swiss sourced movement. Can anyone provide clarification?

BG805Also, why are they not showing the back of the watch??

jlw54They don’t always show the backs - it just depends on what stock photos they get sent by the sellers.

Glad to see some 38s here finally. Hopefully there's some more to come since that's the perfect size for me, just 15mm is a bit thick.

It's as if a Seiko SARB033 went to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and said: "Make me the Chronograph I always wanted to be!"

38mm too small? I have a couple of 36mm Rolex DateJust models that look fine (to me). My wrist circumference is 7.5" which I think is about average. 2mm +/- is ~ 8/100 of an inch, which doesn't seem all that noticeable. But I grew up when 40mm was considered huge and 34mm the norm.

The 1st Valjoux 7750 watch I owned was a Fortis Flieger

that has a 38mm case and is 14mm thick. I’ve had it for 20 years and it has a fantastic sapphire non-reflective crystal from before they were common. Still keeps +3 time a day. Don’t wear it as much as I once did, but it’s a great watch and comfortable on the wrist. I bought it in Switzerland and not sure if they even had distribution in the US at the time. Still a brand not often seen here (I own one other). The company went bankrupt 2 years ago and an investor bought the brand name.

38mm 7750 chronographs aren’t rare even today just a small spacer ring although much more common in the vintage world

"It winds itself with the natural motion of your wrist" What is this science fiction magic they speak of?

Can’t think of any other 7750 based chronos that are 38mm. $680 is a fair price as these typically range around the $750-$800 mark on the grey market sites.
I don't have a problem with 38mm. I have my Seiko alpinist 38mm. A great watch. But there is other Hamilton's I rather get than this one.

AlletiderslasseAgree.  My 7750-based Chronoswiss dual-time Tora is  38mm and I love the size.  It's all about the design, not the size.  I don't have small wrists, but I'm actually rather tired of the huge watch trend...

ED61The bracelet version was on sale at Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago for $300. I know of a few folks that got one and that’s probably what you’re seeing on eBay now.
