High-frequency nylon? Is it the end of the world yet?

keybersOK, so the specs paragraph begins to approach the realm of common sense saying "high-frequency welded nylon". The thing is, it should be "high-frequency-welded", otherwise "high-frequency" still remains a noun adjunct that functions as an adjective accompanying "nylon". Which is why the copywriter apparently thought there would be no harm in removing "welded" from this phrase in the description. We are in "Fringe" (the TV series) territory where the laws of physics break down. I'm hearing green. Nylon is now high-frequency.

keybersThank you fellow English language pedant. I appreciate that explanation. I read that sentence a half-dozen times trying to make sense of it, but my brain kept rejecting it outright. Now I am no longer tasting the annoyingly scrambled sound of confusion, just a little sweet 'n sour contempt for the writer.
