What will happened if a subset does not reach the unlock point? Will I get that set with a higher price or I won't get it at all?

riverprawnAnyone know the answer to this question? I'm actually interested in joining the drop as well, but I'm not sure if the International Kit will be produced since it doesn't seem to be so popular.

OowehThere is some precedent for MD or an international proxy buyer to come in to pick up the necessary units to make a kit tip, but 19 sets would probably be a pretty big gamble.

CoruscoThanks for the reply. Unfortunately it feels like a gamble to join the drop and risk ending up with an incomplete keyboard. Never ordered a keyset from here before, so I don't know how problems like these are solved, especially for people who've already joined the drop.
Also very surprised about the lack of ISO kits purchased, since this is an excellent keyset.

the best way without gambling could be to join all the sets you would like to get, and cancel everything shortly before the drop ends if the needed sets don't make it. No risk this way. If there are only a few buyers missing MD might jump in to make the sets go through.
The problem is that MDs system isn't build for "complex" drops with many options. It's a paradox situation, ISO needs 25 people, 8 joined, and maybe 20 people are afraid to join like you fearing for an incomplete keyboard. Even though enough people would be there to buy, the set will fail. The only way to overcome this right now, don't be afraid, join to express your will and if needed, cancel.

JebbraMy wife is a concept artist. She uses the graphics tablet a lot and has wanted a customizable single-handed keyboard for a long time. She showed some interest to the Ergodox I am using but didn't like the color of it. And she also needs only the left part of the Ergodox. Then come the Infinity Ergodox, this keycap set and the Datamancer wood case. All problem solved and a perfect gift can be expected:)

Do not hold your orders back if you're afraid to see a kit fail. No matter when you join, you will mot be charged before the end of the drop. I always check the kits that made it right after the drop ends and then decide whether I contact support to cancel it. The last GMK drop made all kits even though MOQs where far from reached. So glad I got in!

riverprawnI know that workflow! That's what my gf do when she edit my photograph, left hand on keyboard right hand on wacom tablet. My gf is stylist/photographer/assistant photographer/digital imager for me and we move a lot and mainly work on a Macbook. I myself own a poker (soon to be replaced with infinity 60) and my gf show interest for the first time when seeing the planck + hana render on the first page because the small package and mobility planck offered and the beauty of this set. But the price of the base kit could become the deal breaker for now plus half of them will stay in the drawer :(

JebbraYou can get the alphas from Signature Plastics/Pimp My Keyboard, and the child kits you want from here. The font from SP will always be black, but you can get the plastic in many different colors. The only issue is that the alphas will appear way before these keys ship.

I went this route (ordering a DSA set from SP) for the Infinity 60%, because I really like green. You could say it's my favorite color.

OowehI can say that there a lot of east Asian purchases that aren't going to show up until the last day of the drop, so you should stay tuned for that, as some kits might drop that aren't even close at the moment.

LunarisDreamThe numbers have not been updated for at least 3 days. When someone told me that a subset has to reach the unlock point 1 to be available. And because I need it to build a gift for my wife. I place an order of 6 sets of the Ergodox kit to make sure that it will not be dropped.(It's 19 at that time). But the number has not changed since then. So I have purchased nearly one third of the total required quantities(another 2 were purchased before the 6) and still don't know if I can get it or not.
