time for people to get a refund 6 weeks is unreasonable amount time to wait. there are also time limits with paypal in which you are allowed to file a dispute
e350We are actually at just about 5 weeks now since Massdrop sent me the order. As you can see from the previous post, I am only really able to make 20 of these a week. Add in a hardware delay and that pushed things an extra week. As per my original quote to massdrop of 20 a week we are actually exactly on schedule (ahead of schedule timing in the delay). Because the wallets need to be made, packaged, shipped to massdrop, then repackaged and set out to you = longer wait time.
This is about the only downside of massdrop. However, do remember you are saving a good amount of money off of regular price, and thus are in this sort of mass production system where things just take a while. If you were to order regularly from any made-to-order shop, you should expect a 2 week+ delay before delivery, and then 2 more weeks for delivery to you.
I can't really say where they are now at the process of getting to you as I have already shipped to massdrop.
Really I just ask to be patient, I do these sort of sales not for money, but to get as many products into the hands of as many people as possible, to share my leatherwork. Mass-production is not a fun process for any artisan. Thankyou.
Hand.and.SewI hope that our questions regarding the status didn't come across impatient or too demanding. I think the lack of communication and eagerness to get these lanyards has just gotten a few of us antsy. Your hard work to deliver a quality product is much appreciated, thanks so much for sticking to the time frame and overcoming hurdles on your way to fulfill this for us. Keep up the good work.
TheUnlawfulWaffleI think demanding a refund (not you, the other person) does come across as demanding :P
But keep in mind, generally the comments here reflect the views of a vocal few versus the majority of participants.
Thanks for taking the time to thank H&S for their work, they've been great partners on Massdrop, and I know it means a lot to them to hear about the appreciation from the community.

Hand.and.SewPersonally for me, I was not pointing fingers at H&S. I admire the work that you do, but the process of Massdrop has not been handled very well, at all. I am among many who eagerly awaits the beautifully crafted lanyards, but there is no updates for weeks on end with Massdrop, aside from "Order placed with vendor". I think that's the problem people are having.
