These look like nice boots, but I have never had good luck purchasing any kind of boots, sneakers, or shoes on the internet.
IMHO footwear should be tried on, and then if it actually fits right, purchased.
After all, the worst thing in the world is a poor fitting pair of boots, when you are already out in the trail!
Brick and Mortar stores like REI, Cabelas, LL Bean, Bass Pro, Orvis, are best for purchasing boots.
If I was going to purchase footwear on the internet, I would be more inclined to purchase footwear from Amazon, as they clearly indicate free shipping, and free returns on most, but not all footwear items.
So what happens if somebody purchases this boot from Massdrop and it does not fit?
Are you stuck with it, as I see no information about returns, or warranties?
Massdrop, why not make that information easy to find, and clearly visible on the drop page?
I did see the following declaration on the description page:
"After the drop ends, payment will be collected and the group’s order will be submitted to the vendor up front, making all sales final. "
So this would seem to say that if the boot you ordered does not fit, then tough luck, all sales are final!
Why would anyone risk their hard earned money by purchasing boots from Massdrop with that policy in place?
Certainly not me!
