Wondering why the sizing is a bit big. I'm a size 32 and the thigh on the 34s seem to be an inch bigger than my normal jeans. My thighs are not small either. Is it because the material is thicker? If so, could you suggest some jeans I could use as reference for size?

AioxatThe fit on these is definitely a classic straight leg, that's why the thighs (and most other measurements) are going to be a bit bigger/wider than what a lot of folks are used to (straight tapered and tapered fits have dominated the last couple of years). I think for reference sizing you did the right thing, you probably measured or took a look at jeans you already own and compared to the sizing chart here.
