The Happy Hacking Keyboard has played a prominent role in the mech keys community since its release in 2006. It could be because of its compact form factor, the ergonomic cylindrical step chassis, or the smooth Topre electrostatic capacitive switches; or maybe it’s a combination of it all. Whatever the reason, it’s here to stay—and now it’s here for the first time in the US. This 60-key, high-performance keyboard features an integrated USB hub for hooking up other accessories. DIP switches on the back side of the board allow you to switch layouts on the fly. The electrostatic capacitive Topre switches have 45 grams of pressure and 4 millimeters of travel, resulting in a buttery smoothness you won’t find on other switches. As an added bonus, we’re throwing in five different PBT spacebars to spice up the look.
