KENTOSIIt's still noticeable, but it looks way better after I apply a mineral oil just once even without letting it soaks in. Sanding it before using the oil should be better, but I plan to coat the oil and leave it over night before wipe the excess out a couple more times. I've got the oil from IKEA actually for my cutting board.
