I'm hoping this includes the twins, as the images have it but the text contents list doesn't. I've already assembled some of the miniatures from the core game and a few expansion packs, which I plan to paint as a gift for someone. This price just feels too good to pass up however, so I thought I might get a second set for myself.

I picked my shipment up from the post office today. I haven’t opened any of the individual packages yet, but the Weasley twins pack was in the box.

Yeah, for me I can deal with decent gameplay for less money. Have you played the Batman game BTW? Can you tell me how it is if you have?

I've been playing the Batman game for over five years now I think. It's a rather high learning curve, especially if you've never done a miniatures game before. That said, I think it's a very deep game and is a lot of fun. Even if you stay within one crew there are a lot of options for equipment and free agents to choose from.

For those wondering about price reference, this bundle was $350 directly from Knight Models during the preorder sale. You can get everything from Amazon today for about that same price. The base game tin price has dropped dramatically($35 on Amazon; down from $102 normal discount and $120 MSRP) but the expansion prices aren’t that much lower than their original MSRP (e.g., Hogwarts Professors is $29; down from $38 normal discount and $45 MSRP). With the 12 (or 13? expansions) this is a “good deal” from a price standpoint. As for gameplay and component quality, there are a few video reviews on BGG with mixed opinions. Watch as many as you can to get a full picture of pros and cons. I’m still on the fence...

I bought it and have no regrets but I knew what I was getting into. The minis have fantastic detail and fortunately, none were broken. They are definitely fragile with very little flex (be extra careful with the wands). Assembly is a little fiddly but par for the course for resin minis. The game boards are good - normal thickness with good visual details. On the other hand, the counters and terrain tiles are criminally thin to the point of being unusable. I’m upgrading them based on a some ideas I got from a Harry Potter Miniatures Game Facebook group (highly recommended) so, in the end, not that big of a deal. As for how it plays...I still haven’t gotten it to the table. Rulebook doesn’t seem that bad and there are some decent tutorials on BGG.

Are the Weasley Twins included? Their minis are included in the set of photos but I don’t see the expansion listed.

That's a shame. I would have been stoked to have all these minis, but if they're not painted and the game isn't well thought out, I'll pass, too. (edit: I typed 'stoked' not 'stayed', but I guess autocorrect overruled me.)

This would have been great, but Knights model is at it again. Bad minis, poorly thought out rules, and the pre-order pissed a lot of people off. I think this one is a pass.

I've heard nothing good about this. The miniatures are supposedly so fragile it's rare to even get an initial delivery without broken mini's.

yeah I did the all in preorder - they shipped two McGonagalls instead of one and one snape, the dementor, cho chang, and the unicorn were all broken. But they replaced what needed replacing. It took a long time though. I probably wont buy any more, and I'm never planing on playing the game, only displaying the minis once painted

Yes, it's disappointing to say the least. I'm a big fan and I badly wanted these mini's, but then I started reading reviews. No Bueno.
