I just received mine :D. It's weird because I expected the backpack to be larger, but it has such a large capacity that it doesn't matter.

I really like it because Iit has good back support and I can run with it on which is great if I'm late or something. It comfortably holds my laptop, charger, mouse, school supplies, etc. The bottom pouch is clutch and can hold an extra pair of shoes (maybe not if your feet are size 11 or more). The laptop pouch was kinda confusing because I thought the pocket was separate from the main compartment, but it just makes grabbing your laptop from the main compartment easier.

You can adjust from the bottom or top of the straps, which vastly improves how it fits. The zippers also don't get stuck on anything because nothing protrudes from the backpack. It's comfy, holds a lot of stuff, and everything inside can be quickly accessed. I hope it holds up for a long time. I recommend it because I definitely got what I paid for. If it isn't as durable as I'm currently assuming it is (which I doubt) then I'll mention that.

Hello, Just one thing have to be confirmed, base on ASUS X556U website, the dimension is 38.2 x 25.8 x 2.55 cm (W x L x H). Could this backpack compatible for it? Many thanks for reply.

ZenderHi TomasV, The page shows "15-in padded laptop sleeve" but my X556U is 15.6-in, thus I have to make everything is clear for decision. BTW, thanks for your reply. :)

ZenderAgain, judging from the measurements of your laptop it should fit --- perhaps not inside of the laptop sleeve but should fit just fine on the main compartment.

How well will this fit, if at all, on some wider people? Then again, I mean, it looks small on a smaller person, would probably look ridiculous on me....

esoomenonaDon't be discouraged -- you should definitely check out the dimensions on the main page. I'm roughly 5'8" 220lbs, and this fit me just right, still feels like a big backpack on me.

Waterproof? Water-resistant? Will my stuff survive a bike ride in the rain?

IusCThe outer is leather -- therefore it won't be waterproof or water-resistant. However, if you get caught in the rain and it's not a long downpour affecting the leather, you can easily wipe it dry when you reach destination and still be fine.

TriNThanks for asking question before i did :) Same thing with the British Belt Company. If I want quality I dont want it to be made in China .. or India.. I want it just like the name says: British or Japanese..
@Massdrop Can you offer something in the similar range but labeled Made in Uk / Japan?

ZevaHaving something made in USA/Japan but at Vietnam prices isn't really a thing that can be done well. Things made where labor is expensive are more expensive.
