JohnnyCredit47 mm is lug-to-lug, i.e. height. Actually this means it is shorter than a lot of 38-40 mm watches despite being 42 mm. So it wears small.

AlexanderFAh, you're right. I misread. 42 is still a mite larger than I prefer for myself.
