Well, I have an update to my comment of just a few minutes ago. I just checked the meca-quartz chronograph mentioned before, and....it's stopped. I adjusted the time and it's now working. Makes me wonder if it's just the battery or something worse. Even if it's a worn down battery, it's been only about a month. And a reputable manufacturer should not ship out their watches with old batteries. I don't remember if the watch includes a warranty...
