For those who have tried the new 5.0 version, how's the sound? Any connection hiccups?

BobrazSound is pretty close to exceptional for wireless IEM & as a comms device. So far second only to Klipsch T5 True Wireless in overall sound quality. Simple answer no for connection hiccups. But like all BT devices, this will also depend how close you are to your source device & if anything is potentially blocking the transmission signal. Hope this helps. Have a great day !

PaganDI just ordered these! I needed something that sounded good and felt comfortable for the daily grind at work. Thanks for the input! How would you describe the sound stage on these? I tend to like a good amount of bass (helps pump you up on one of 'those' days) without sounding too muddy and I heard these are pretty good on that as well as quite loud.

vanillafeatherFirst of all, I will say I doubt you be disappointed unless your source is terrible or terribly recorded but that will depend on you. Subjectively & personally, staging & clarity on these is among the best & widest I've heard for a wireless IEM...so far... Though this will also depend on your source & music so your mileage will definitely vary to mine. I have heard a few wireless IEMs , the only one which may potentially beat Helm TW 5 in sound quality is Klipsch T5 TW but that is almost double the price. Bass response is no problem but I would caution like with any IEM, wireless or not, not to listen too loud & have a good fit & seal with the Helm 5 as that fit & seal will contribute to how well the bass response gets relayed. Subjectively & personally, their ear tips don't work for me. However, since I have many, many ear tips at my disposal, it wasn't hard finding ones which fit well for me & are really comfortable. As to muddy bass, generally that only happens if the seal ain't good & your source is not well recorded, some Hi Res can have this issue when they try to upsample older music, eg early classical or early Jazz but then I don't buy into Hi Res so I'm safe there. But to answer about Helm 5 Bass. Bass Response punches deep with good impact & extension, track & genre subjective, of course but for those who like Consumer Bass, this isn't an issue though for someone like me who leans towards Pro Bass Response, these are definitely good. Hope you find this useful, feel free to ask more if you need. Hope you have a great day !
