What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

These brains, please do something more useful than bringing down the price and capturing your market share with other people's idea. Many will be thankful for you bringing cheap price, but please, you these "brains" can do better. Please introduce your new designs, created by your brains.
When something looks close, we understand it can be "inspired"; when something looks close enoug, we can tell it is basically a knock-off, a copy.

And that's if it's even granted. It's better business all around to just respect others' creations. But that's not the world we live in.
At one stage the founder of Hidden Labs worked with HKP, and one of the parts included HKP selling a large number goods he said we're being destroyed (failed QC etc) and effectively stole money as they were splitting profits. There is a lot more too it, but like I said, not the time or the place.
Regardless, stealing designs is the behaviour that you can endorse because a few people have done it? So you are friends of K3KC alike? With such attitude, makers can go on to produce Clacks, BBv1, BBv2, Fugu, whatever they can get their hands on and make a copy successfully.
Interesting...
It would be already more of an "inspired" design than an obvious copycat-to-common-eyes if: 1. This drop has only the green-black and the blue-black. or 2. The two-tone is translucent red with lighter grey color.
And again, taking revenge is yet another story. Time for some coffee.
