Hi RockyPatel, Thanks so much for providing this review. It is as helpful to us as it may to be those interested in reviving this drop. We offer both button stud straps and standard buckle straps in a variety of leathers from veg tan, to shell cordovan. By far the product that most people are interested in is the veg tan button stud strap. It just may be because the price makes it the most accessible. I think that is why the Massdrop community and administrators were interested in offering this item. You are definitely correct that the veg tan straps are stiffer than any chrome tanned strap will be. I have worn a veg tan strap that really did soften up nicely though. Currently I wear a button stud strap in Chromexcel, and I do find it to be more comfortable than the veg tan strap, but many customers prefer the vegetable tanned leather. You have our apologies if your strap did not soften to your expectations. Our goal here was to offer a quality item at a very accessible price. I hope we were able to do that for you.

Just thought I'd do a long-term review for anyone still interested in reviving this drop. While these straps are a fraction of the price of those from places like Form Function Form, you get what you pay for. As they are veg tanned leather instead of chrome, they are fairly stiff and the insides are a bit scratchy, particularly before they are broken in. They soften up a little, but never to a degree that makes them particularly comfortable. They're tolerable, but never terribly comfortable. The overall construction also leaves some to be desired. The edges do not appear to have been burnished, they are look like they are entirely unfinished cut edges. Frankly, it's a lazy cost cut. A few minutes of burnishing for each band would yield a much more attractive product. If you want the FFF look without spending the money, this isn't a bad deal. If you're looking for an exquisite, carefully made product, look elsewhere, or better yet make your own. I invested in some simple tools and some leather, and I now have a lifetime supply of straps for the cost of about one FFF shell cordovan strap.

I agree completely on the quality of the leather, but as for the button stud getting in the way, try wearing it close to the watch face.
