Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. Expect little communication from the staff, and when they give you updates ("We will have them shipped by next week") they rarely hold true to their word. The first time around, three times they told us these would ship and it didn't ship and we didn't hear a single word of apology or explanation. If you need proof all you need to do is scroll back on the comments from the first time these went on sale. Bottom line is you can't get away with that in today's day and age without the word getting out.
That said, it's a great deal, just make sure you are comfortable waiting at least over a month before receiving these.
Hi Audi0file,
All 50 units of the HE-400 are already in our warehouse waiting to ship out as soon as this buy ends.
There were a lot of vendor-side logistical snags last time we ran this product but we've eliminated all possible issues by stocking these headphones in advance.
We're always working to improve delivery times and we thank you for your patience!
