Congrats to all the folks that got in on this. I just hooked my new rig up, although I'm still waiting on my D100 MK2 to really make a judgement as my older DAC is mediocre at best. Even so, I can honestly say that the HE-500s are the absolute best headphones I've heard to-date, and they're not the most expensive. I can't wait to see hear my setup when the new DAC arrives and I've had a chance to burn them in.
