I wish there was a negative star, I really liked the player, unfortunately it quit working exactly 2 months after recieving it. I contacted Massdrop and got an email confirming they got my email and a few days later recieved an email asking how I liked my customer service. I found it non-existent. I wish I could return it, I won't buy anything else from hifiman.I'm unable to put anymore than 6000 songs on it with a 256 gig card. It won't display all the band names they show up as gibberish. I would not buy again.
I'm not sure how to get it removed. I contacted hifi man and they are going to replace it, with another piece of junk I'm sure. Try a fiio they are great and affordable for a hifi mp3 player.
JjoynerThat's unfortunately the plan. I got to listen to a couple songs on it and I know that it sounded better than my fiio X2 from a couple years back. It sounded great. Such a shame.
It hasn't died yet so I have that to look forward to. Compared to the ColorFly C3, it feels plasticy and fragile. The screen and interface are ok and sound is good, but it feels like an amateur product.
Absolute rubbish, didn't work properly out of the box, couldn't read any of my SanDisk or Crucial microSD cards (all the cards were tested to work fine). Customer support was about as helpful as a hot anvil on my back, and I'm now down the original purchase fee as well as shipping to me and to Hong Kong for product RMA.
May be my last MassDrop purchase for a while, at least until they start curating their offers better.
