Hmmm this is interesting. If I was wealthier I'd buy this and the HELM amp, though this can up the DAC quality from your phone, and do a comparison. The 4.4mm "problem" can easily be fixed with an adapter, though that is an additional cost. Anyone speak to the quality of the chip into this compared to that in the V30/40/50?

Alltheheadphones"The 4.4mm "problem" can easily be fixed with an adapter" uh, no it can't. It's a balanced 4.4mm output.

verifonixYou can buy 4.4 to 3.5 or 4.4 to 2.5 adapters.... You'd lose balanced with the former but that goes without saying

Alltheheadphones4.4 to 3.5 can break the device and just reading up on the basics of balanced audio would have taught you that. Highly not recommended!

AlltheheadphonesInteresting. looks better than the average adapter yes, it doesn't short outputs but keeps things floating. Do note that it notes some incompatible brands so I'm not sure it will work with just every 4.4mm port :) also you'd be just tapping half the output, so it'll still be unbalanced and not really balanced :)

verifonixWell that's just the thing. Does the product merit consideration if you're going to forgo the use of balance. I was just merely pointing out that it is possible, and I appreciate this product is fairly new and not known by everyone
