The DAC itself is powered by a Qualcomm ES9281AC chip that allows you to listen to music at 32-bit, 768-kilohertz resolution with distortion as low as 0.0003%. The DAC also supports MQA format so you can hear your audio as the original studio deck intended. A major added benefit is the Bluetooth functionality, because this portable little pocket DAC also delivers flexibility to stream your music to wireless earbuds. But because Bluetooth transmission typically requires lossy compression of your audio, Audirect has included virtually every modern codec available, including LDAC, aptX, and aptX-HD—meaning you’ll get the best possible response from your music, even when streaming wirelessly.
