While delivery took some time, I was very happy with the set especially considering the price. The business end of these carvers is well shaped, and finished to mirror sharpness but this is due to being heavily buffed which rounds the edge so you will likely spend some time getting the edge flat. The handles are what sets the difference and the price point, and won’t affect the novice or hobbyist with the time they will be hands in tools. Heavy users would benefit from paying top dollar for tools with excellent handles. Highly recommended to the new or low usage time hobbyists.
