For the past 10 years, the original M200 by HiVi has been gracing desktops and studios with high-end sound at a reasonable price. Now in its second and third generation, the MkII and MkIII both feature upgraded internals and a beefier amplifier that raise their output to a whole new level.

Solid Build
Fully outfitted with a shielded 5-inch poly-cone midwoofer and 25-millimeter soft dome tweeter, these 30-pound studio monitors pack plenty of low-end punch. The M200MkII is constructed from audiophile-quality parts and wrapped in solid furniture-grade wood cabinetry. The housing features a double-sided wall and mill-cut aluminum baffle overlay on top of a polished black lacquer for a striking but refined aesthetic style.
Classic Quality
It is no secret that bigger drivers deliver better bass response. The 5-inch midwoofer on the M200 MkII is noticeably larger than most multimedia desktop solutions. The end result is tighter, effortless bass with super low distortion. The MKII’s front panel features convenient and accessible volume, bass, and treble controls while the high-performance 25-millimeter silk dome tweeter delivers smooth highs and unbelievable transparency for this price range.
