Hey I am curious did anyone's else's knife come to them unsharpened? I mean I can run my finger along the edge without cutting myself.

AlphaMarauderCan I get a confirmation on this being common? I tend to sharpen my Karam bits a lot less just because it's a pain imo. Would like it to come sharp.

AlphaMarauderI can confirm that my Karambit arrived dull as well. I was also able to run my finger along the edge without slicing myself. Also, the steel is definitely 7CR13 as others have stated. However, the box has an ad for the Black Karambit, that does have AUS-8 steel. For future drops, please make this distinction as Silver and Black come in two different steels.

MijamoWouldn't that be a bit misleading to state that the blade is AUS-8 then?
Checked United Cutlery's website and its definitely the weaker steel. Although it is not a bad one, I had bought this knife specifically because it was made out of AUS-8.
Feel kind of a bummer and let down knowing this info now
