Great, durable belt. No sealer or something, discolored 1st wear, so I dyed it black!
I was a bit irritated that these had no wax or sealant or anything, and about the 2nd wear I got sweaty on a hot day or something. May have been sprayed with water?
It absorbed some blue from something (jeans?) and was destroyed.
After sitting in closet for a year or so, I got some leather dye and SEALANT wax, rubbed it black, let it settle to check evenness, then SEALED it. Now it's my favorite of many black belts!
This belt would be a resounding 5* but for not being able to stay brown, I'll likely get another if ever able though, and seal it or take my chances and be very careful, not sure.
Very well constructed and with very good (Bridle) leather. This is the kind of belt that will still be fashionable for decades, and could likely hold up just as long with daily use. More continued wearing of it will make it more pliable, as should be expected, so if you think it fits snugly it should only require more wearing; kind of like jeans. For it's price and quality I would expect the belt to sell for 4 times as much.
