They work with all my 3.5mm jack headphones
I purchased the cable with the 3.5mm TRS headphone plugs and 4.4mm balanced plug for the amplifier jack. The holes surrounding the jacks on my Denon AH-D9200 headphones were too small to allow the sleeves (sleeves meaning the cylinder covering where the wires meet the plug; the part you grip) on the 3.5mm plugs of my Cardas Clear balanced cables to fit all the way into the holes of the Denon headphone jacks. The Cardas cables will fit into the jacks of my Focal Clear and Hifiman Ananda & Arya (the Hifiman jacks are flush, anyway). So the smaller jack sleeves on these Hyper Design cables work for all the headphones I mentioned.

Great cable!
Was able to transform my HE-X4's using this. Able to get a balanced end so I now run them out of the 4.4 jack on my A50s. Sound totally different because there is just more power! Use these cans now about half the time splitting duty with the HD6xx. Close call between the two, jury is still out...

Well built but a little pricy.
This is a well built cable, and especially so if you compare it to a stock Sennheiser cable. It doesn't change the sound of the headphones at all, and that it a good thing. It is expensive though, but I have seen other aftermarket cables near this kind of price. Still, it hard to swallow that it was $30 less than what I payed for the 58X's. The connectors are also a little tight. It is gonna take some work to plug the cables into your headphones and even more work to unplug them. Make sure you are not pulling on the cable when trying to pull them out. They will budge, just keep at it. I would only use this if the stock cable is too long for you, or it has died. This is a good solid cable, and I recommend it. It is pricy though and the fit is tight.

Great quality, but a little pricey for what you get
Compared to my balanced Audiophile Ninja braided cable, which cost about half as much per foot, this cable does not improve the sound of any of my HiFiman headphones I connected it to. What it does offer is a very lightweight and comfortable design, where the Ninja cable is thick and durable, though both feel equally premium. Where HyperDesign truly sets themselves apart is cable noise. I typically find braided cables to be annoyingly microphonic when rubbing against my shirt, however I can't get any noise out of this cable if I try. I think that $120 for 6.5 feet of cable is steep. My $20 plastic Drop IEM cable has a similar level of noise isolation, albeit with a cheaper feel and about half the length. I would tentatively recommend this cable if you find yourself wanting a dead silent braided cable and don't mind shelling out some cash. One minor complaint I have is that the jacks on the 3.5mm version are for recessed ports. This means the plastic case on the jacks sit flush with the ear-cup on older HiFiMan models or Focal headphones, but on newer HiFiMans there's about 1cm of exposed metal jutting out under the cup (shown in photo). I would appreciate an option for non-recessed 3.5mm jacks at this price point.
