Oh! Now all of a sudden everyone is complaining about the case size? Here's the deal--I've come to the conclusion this watch is aimed more at the BMW motorcycle crowd, rather than the snooty BMW car owning crowd. And to be fair, you can't spend a lot of time looking at your watch whilst careening through the twisties on your R1250 RT, high up in the Colorado Rockies. You don't have time to admire the dial, or watch the wheels and gears spinning around on your 38mm open heart dress watch--No! You just need to know if you're going to make your damn brunch reservation at The Stanley Hotel, down in Estes Park! In that application, a little bigger, is a little better, and a lot safer!

However, there are those who think bigger is always better, and if I were one of them, I would ask, why settle for 49 or 53mm when you can wear a real, he-man sized, fifty-seven millimeter watch--and keep track of three time zones while you're at it!

Now that's a watch!

All true, but we're a pretty fickle audience these days. Probably MD's fault too, because as you point out, we're all more interested in, and better informed about, watches than we would otherwise be, without the MD watch section. We are the monsters, they created!

Gee...talking about being flashy- @53mm most people will ask WTF are you wearing. Sure gets some attention. Otherwise I am going to say it looks like a decent watch at that price with a Miyota movement: @43mm max.
