Really happy with this shirt so far, it's super comfortable and quite light, and the odor resistance is a nice benefit. I think a well-made merino shirt like this was a steal at this price.
It's nice for summer cycling. Most cycling gear is polyester/lycra and very form-fitting, for aerodynamic purposes and mainly due to the influence of racing culture. As a non-racer, though, I often find it more comfortable to wear clothing that's fitted but not completely body-hugging, and this shirt fits the bill nicely. Having a shirt that flaps in the breeze a bit would likely be blasphemous to most racers, but I guess it just comes down to personal preference and type of activity. However, I'd stick with polyester on longer/hotter rides, for the better moisture-wicking properties.
I'd grab another one of these if it dropped again, I just wish there were more color options.
That being said, this appears to be a quality shirt that's a pretty good deal at this price, and one that doesn't often go on sale (legitimately, at least). Looking at the Amazon reviews for this item ( http://a.co/7x4G6ZE ), there seem to be a disturbing amount of counterfeit sellers advertising this shirt at a lower price but shipping out a crummy basic cotton tee. Yikes.
JWCookYeah, assuming these are legit (and I have absolutely no reason to assume they aren't) this is actually a great price...although it looks like they're definitely ditching off specific colors.
Edit: Meh, never mind, they only have the 80's colors left in men's L. Great deal, but I would only regret those colors. Pass.
