Unfortunately I'm actually quite disappointed with this cap as well. I don't mind that the density isn't super high because Busgamer made it pretty clear it was random in the discussion, but you can barely see the gold when it's on a board and when the backlight is on, forget it. The backlight makes it look like a dirty translucent cap. It would be better as an opaque cap with a little more gold in it.

BlueCrownedIt DOES look great in the hand though. I'm not sure what could work for it to look a bit better when actually in use.

BlueCrownedThis cap has grown on me and will probably sit on my K-Type along with Laser when Laser arrived!
