Anyone got any good keycap suggestions for this? Previously I used MDA Big Bang which are great, but they are no longer sold and I need another set for my work board.

I don't see this advice posted a lot, but for folks new to hot swap: do not use Kailh box switches with hot swap boards. Their legs are wider than other MX switches and you can pop the hotswap socket off the PCB (potentially ruining it) by using them. If you have to use Kailh switches, you need to taco/fold the legs a little before inserting them. Posting only because I ruined my XD75 that way because I didn't know.

Well then you run the risk of popping off sockets. The best practice is to brace the socket, I do it for every board I build.

Ares78I've never had a problem with, or needed to brace the socket for, any switch other than Khailh Boxes. But you do you.

raccoonitoThat's the only thing keeping me off it right now. I like that the XD75 lets you do a lot of different layouts. Hoping Jack makes a Preonic v4 with a lot of these features.

I'm assuming this uses a Alu plate, is this correct? Also is there any chance of the "ID75 Crystal" going on sale? It looks pretty cool, the red accent is my only issue personally.
