I wouldn't say its best keyboard for beginners. The controller in the keyboard is not the most user friendly ever.
I had it randomly hitting weird keys when I hooked it upto my monitor USB port at first. It caused my PC to refuse to turn on.
Though once I identified the cause, Its much livable now. I do miss my numpads, i wish they comes with matching numpads with dedicated media controller.
Yes, its painful to have a keyboard almost like back in the 90s. Kind of basic, and mildly inconvenient.
After dig trough some undocumented reprograming of the FN key. I was lucky I learned to use the FN key to recover some of its dignity.
I do love its preprogramed lights. But I quickly found out I felt like I've overpaid for such outdated keyboard. There is nothing you can do on the key lights, other than dimming them. Thank god the clear keys do compliment the look.
i love the feel of it and best pre-built but the reason that i gave it 4 stars instead 5 is because the key cap paint started fading on second of use mostly its my new daily keyboard and i play FPS games so i think thats why the W ans D key faded so quick but i RMA it and it should come sometime soon but im not expecting it will last either because the keycap that are used are 20$ keycaps so explains why the paint quality isn't that good but overall the board and switches are top notch
The acrylic keyboard case is crystal clear. I wish the keycaps were just as clear though to match the aqua king switches and case. The switches are pretty heavy (62g), but very smooth stock. Swapped out the stabilizers for clear everglide stabilizers. For some reason the black smokey ones were installed. Not a huge difference, but it looks a little better imo with the clear stabs.
