I received an email from Drop on Nov. 19 (and all of you probably did too) stating very clearly that they planned to start shipping these starting the week of Dec. 2. As a long time (mass)drop patron, I can tell you that delays like these happen occasionally. This is hardly the first product I’ve ordered that was delayed a couple weeks. (Other times, products show up weeks early, and sometimes product runs get cancelled—RIP Fostex T-XOOs, I hardly knew you—that’s just the nature of this service). I’m looking forward to finally getting my iFi stack and am not surprised it is delayed a couple of weeks because of the pandemic et al.

DamiensGamingI didn't get that email either but I did just get one saying mine are shipping so it it doesn't matter either way.

DamiensGamingI'm somewhat jealous. I guess I chose the deliver by foot shipping option because mine won't be delivered until next Wednesday.

RDougI'm less sympathetic to Drop. Definitely understand that production delays happen, especially with the pandemic. However, covid doesn't stop Drop customer support personnel from providing proactive updates on here or over email. The only reason that we got updates here at all (after the promised ship date!) was because we engaged the iFi rep who back-channeled to Drop.

LinebackerUI agree that Drop dropped the ball here and am sympathetic with those who are frustrated by the shipping delay. Unlike many on this discussion, I did receive an email about a week ago that updated me on the new shipping date “starting the week of Dec. 2.” I don’t know why other customers on this drop didn’t get that email. I also think it should have been sent sooner. Drop was pretty good about letting me know that the balanced senn cable (which I purchased to use with this amp) was running a month late. I’ve got that cable—still waiting for the amp to ship.

RDougI received that same (second) email, as the first one was a pretty piss-poor example of how to write a 'we don't care about you' tone, etc. So here we are past the Dec 2nd, they've been sitting in Drop's warehouse all this time. Someone posted today on head-fi that they received theirs. Great....only problem, for me is that 1) they are in Hong Kong and 2) they bought in Sept. Why is this annoying? I bought in July, in the first wave. I'm also a lot closer to Jersey, in the Boston area. The incompetence being shown by Drop doesn't exactly make me want to spend my Drop bucks, that's for sure, ever.

RDougWhat I don't understand is the lack of support. As of November 20, although it was stated that we would talk in a discussion soon, it was only a one-sided declaration and there was no detailed explanation. The shipment announced on December 2nd has not yet started. Shouldn't we send more to users?

RDougFinally got mine today 12/9 (email notice 12/8). Not surprising as I mentioned above I'm a 1/2 day drive from the warehouse... Haven't had a chance to listen extensively, but happy w/ the first few songs...I had almost pulled the trigger on a iFi Neo ;-)
