SpencerL200 dollars is not what I'd call affordable plus I don't see any update to Ctrl. Reviews are filled with issues.

HaqpaHIt appears the C-87 model has the non-detachable cable, while the CD-87 has a detachable cable. I found this by searching Google. Good to know...
