Because this is one of the very few aluminium fullsize KBs out there, I am interested to know if the USB socket fastening issue has been rectified. A shame, otherwise for such a solid build to have a weakness like this.
Mine had both mounting tabs broken. It pushed right into the case when I tried to connect the cable. It was easy enough to open up and put something behind it, but it's something that should not have to be done.
The manufacturer seems to have an Ebay presence. I asked them if they were aware of the design fault in the MF-108 line keyboard and whether it had been rectified.
I agreed. I hope IKBC will hope that problem for this drop.
IKBC is well aware of the problems. They have moved production back to Taiwan for better qc. The problems should be fixed this drop.
I got my MF-87 after they fixed the issue (same board basically) and my USB is secure as a rock.
