Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a bit much for a pine board? It looks fine, but that's it. Just fine. Not great. It's kind of obvious in the photos its a trimmed down sanded and stained 2x4 and not a premium piece like what most expect from Massdrop. They didn't even pick a good grain/stain sample for the pictures. It's just lazy. How does this meet Massdrop's standards? As a side note, how do I sign up to make these for Massdrop to sell?

Howser87Have to agree. If it was walnut, cherry, or maple, I would have done it. Hell I would even pay more for some birds eye maple. Pine, for $30? I don't think so.

Howser87I had the same thought. PINE??? So disappointing. I love the profile, but I'm not buying a shined up 2x4.
