Joyful, melodic and very low-end capable IEM, a high end product
The Ikko OH7 was a big gamble for me. It is expensive and most of its qualities discussed are focused around the low end capabilities of this IEM. I will try to describe my impressions as best as i can, but i am relatively new to the world of HIFI (only a few years very active). What struck me most when first listening to them is how joyful they make almost any song. I is difficult to explain, but these make me sing along with songs more than any other IEM i own (Campfire Audio Vega 2020, a Shure Aeonic 5, Letshuoer S12). These bring joy, there is no other way to put it. Combine that with a superb low end response (bass, subbass both fantastic without distortion) and i think it is a strong product, although heavily priced. The IEMs themselves come with 3 cables which are nice, and do not tangle. They are very small, but have a good weight to then. I think theses are made from brass. For my average ears, they fit very comfortable, and i do not loose them at all. The IEMs gather fingerprints though. I think Ikko built a real 'winner' here. Regarding the looks: you may love it or hate it, but regarding sound, you cannot go wrong if you are looking for a fun, very capable, bit L-shaped, melodic IEM. These are not neutral/analytical IEMs. I highly recommend these, but they may be a bit hard to find theses days (they were unavailable at Ikko for months, only recently back in stock). Please feel free to ask anything. I will try to answer as best as i can. Let me finish by saying i will never sell these. They are unique in many ways.
