Super smooth and super efficient. I used it with the supplied Supermax platinum blade and got an irritation and nick free two pass BBS shave on a three day growth. A light touch and with the grain did the job. Touch up third pass against the grain was also very smooth and zero irritation. Excellent razor for the price. I've signed up for a backup razor as well !

Aggressive, impossible to be used for my skin, got face all in cuts and reprimand from my wife. I guess it was formulated for hippopotamus skin. Looks great, still just a waste of money! Just get Feather AS-D2 Double-Edge Razor on Massdrop and forget about Icon!
