They also call that handle OSS, Ikon makes many heads, and many handles and you can find them in different configurations. These are both called OSS.

This looks very similar to the merkur 34c short handle or the merkur 23c long handle I bought at https://www.theguysshavingclub.com/safety-razor-review/ a couple years ago. I prefer the closed comb since I don't sport a long beard to need the open comb option. My most recent purchase is a new single blade razor called OneBlade that has been a close rival and has me thinking about putting down my old faithful long handle merkur.

I have the same razor without the DLC cover, is the only razor I will need for the rest of my life. A great investment. I'm thinking to buy this one for my nephew's next birthday.
The Open/Closed comb design makes this piece of art really versatile. I recommend it with no reservations.

As usual, the Ikon razors that have trouble selling out on their website, they try to peddle them here on Massdrop by creating a hype. Nobody wants these, slant razors are way better than these outdated junk razors.

I guess this is a top tier DE right? I only have a cheap one right now and wanted to buy a good one for a long time. Is this worth the investment or am I good with a 50-60 euros DE too? Does Massdrop drop other great DE razors except the standard, on a lower price than this, but worth the money?

NikeluTop tier? Eh, not quite. I'd rank Wolfman and ATT above iKon. I'd also recommend a vintage Gillette New ahead of it, but some people really like the iKon brand. I've seen a few incidences of some pretty embarrassing behavior from the owner which would prevent me from recommending one of their products without reservation.

Aggressive usually means you feel the blade more. "Efficient" tends to be a term used to describe a close shaver, but the two words are often interchanged.

Just got it. The handle is very grippy and the razor fits Perfectly with no need to adjust.
Shaving with it tomorrow! Happy Buyer thus far! (just lint on the top of razor in pic)
