I use Fisher Space Pens almost exclusively. I love them! They do have one flaw though. Infrequently, I have had a cartridge start to ooze ink around the ball. My fisher pens all have caps, so it isn't a huge deal. I wipe off the ink before writing and eventually, I'll remember to replace the ink cartridge (I keep spares at home). I love the concept of the pens offered here (especially Titanium), but they need a cap.
Tony, I think the refill is retractable ... this MD listing is really bad.
As of the FSP refills, haven't you experienced some of them writing way harder, I mean not so smooth?
Thanks, good to know! I've not had the problem where it is tough to write that I can recall. I've had a FSP bullet style pen in my desk, pocket and vehicle for ten plus years now. The only issue that stands out in my mind in all that time is the 2 or 3 times when the ink started to weep out around the ball and the cartridge needed to be replaced.
