I could imagine that the magnetic construction thing is stable. But anyone knows about how the knives slide in?

As much as I like the idea, a bunch of questions pop in my head. "Won't budge on your countertop" because of a metal base? But the metal base is only 2.5" wide, whereas the weight of two boards plus knives is distributed evenly upward at nearly 11". Why wouldn't a gentle nudge send the thing falling? How do the knives attach? Do they just slide into slits on top? How wide is the slit? Will my thicc knives slide in? What's the length of the slit, or are they separated into multiple slits? When the thing inevitably falls over, will all the knives fall onto the floor and kill my kids? Are the boards treated with anything?

ILOVETACOSOMGFrom the copy: CHOPS consists of two solid wood cutting boards that magnetically connect to two sides of a knife rack.

What keeps the boards standing up without falling over? It looks like the knives would fall easily too.

This doesn’t answer OP’s question whatsoever. I don’t think they are weighted and as such I think OP is right in saying that they’ll be send toppling over.

MJW0They show how the stand has a wider base than the magnetic part. Knowing that it's magnetic helps in knowing that it will be one unit and not topple over IMO.
