Hey kc,
I looked into it and our engineering team as confirmed that for 5600K color temp, our CRI is above 90. We're currently working on creating an internal document that lists exact CRI for each color temp, but that won't be available for at least another week or two.

Thank you Collin. I look forward to that. I am in the market for, actually I think 6500k high CRI bulbs for diffused light in a color grading studio.

any plans on making a 240v compatible bulb?

...it is?!
one of the pictures over at the description page says 120v/60hz, so I'm a bit worried it'll either light up my living room with the brightness of a dying star or explode with the force of a thousand suns :/

Kyros,
You're correct, we opted to put the lowest compatible power requirements, but I can assure you that we're compatible at 240V as we have many international customers that require the 240V compatibility.
Best,

Put 'RGB LED Bulb' in the search bar of Amazon and there will be a few hundred results as good as this light for under $10.

Hey Zach,
Thanks for stopping by. There are certainly hundreds of simple RBG LED bulbs on the market for cheap, but ilumi does things different. We currently hold 7 patents for the technology we've implemented in our lights. Out focus is on creating a high-quality smart bulb that users feel confident in, and as a result we've prioritized quality luxury lighting over becoming the low-cost provider for RGB LED bulbs. I can assure you that side-by-side comparison of any of the products you're referencing will showcase ilumi's build and light quality. Let me know if you have any questions or if you'd like for me to go into more detail!

Not currently, thought a quick look at the link you listed shows that they support IFTTT, which our new app will do as well. Theoretically you'd be able to have them interface with home-assitant via IFTTT.

Hey m8oman,
We selected Bluetooth when we first started selling our product 2 years ago in Spring of 2014 because we think there's a lot of merit to the proprietary Bluetooth technology we use in our light bulbs. There are many wireless protocols in the smart home realm right now that continue to compete against each other, and we feel that our patented Bluetooth mesh has a ton of opportunity within that realm. That said, we're currently working on integration with IFTTT, Amazon Echo and Works With Nest in an effort to bridge the gap across popular smart home peripherals. We're also evaluating other strategic integrations that will enable more people to experience the power of ilumi.
Happy to answer any questions you might have!
