Just got mine and it doesn't work. Charged up the battery until it indicated green on the led. Removed the plastic battery separator. Removed the film on the lens. Pressed the button and nothing. Tried multiple presses and holding down. My power button spins. Should it do that? Anyone one else try it yet?

anonnomisI tried leaving the battery plugged in and charging after it turned green and that seems to have fixed it. Perhaps the led is not the best indicator of if its done charging.

So what kind of USB does this use to charge? It's probably too much to hope it's USB type-c...

Dear Drop, lumens numbers are fine. But they are meaningless without knowing the runtimes as well. 🙄

So for everyone wondering, this is really a 1200 lumen light that can briefly Turbo to 4500 & 2500. Just as with car mileage claims, to call this a 4500 lumen light is a bit of an exaggeration. There are lights out there that CAN sustain their Turbo and High outputs for an hour+. This isn’t one of them. But it’s still a decent EDC light if your expectations are for 1200 lumens and lower. 👍🏼

glennacSuch as the Fenix PD36r , 21700 usb-c charging and mine ran 6hrs 44 minutes on high (800 lumens) before slowly reducing output due to battery depletion. It's the longest running single cell (stick light) that I have seen.

“Game-changing features on the DM70 include a sleep tight function that emits a red light to help you sleep.” What is a sleep tight function and how does a red light help you sleep?

This sounds like a pretty bad ass little torch. Does anyone have any experience with it?
