I went to IMRs website. They are having a sale right now (discount displayed in cart) on new and B-stock models. I was just able to snag a Good Condition B-stock Zenith for about $265 including shipping.

sirkuttinI've yet to hear anyone paying full price for any of Bob's IEMs. Either they got them for free for writing up their "honest" opinion, or they preordered them at a discount from Kickstarter, bought B-stock directly from Bob or picked them up at Massdrop.

SchizoidSame here. Kudos to all the folks mentioning the sale. At $230, these are an absolute steal for b-stock. Kinda curious how long shipping will take, however.

MAAD.MoNKOh that's good to know, makes it an even better purchase then if it's just the box. Super excited, I should be getting them beginning of next week maybe.

MAAD.MoNKGood to know. I was admittedly shocked how fast he shipped them out . My pair is in Chicago so I should have em shortly myself.

jaydunndidditI can confirm mine looked as new condition and that’s everything and the box just has a slight crease in it. They sound amazing and exactly what I have been wanting from an IEM.

LisasonictowerJust got mine today (missed the package signing yesterday), it took a while to get the right seal for them, but they offer so many tips that there wasn't an issue with that (Clear ones with that looks like a tip on top of another tip worked for me) and atm using the black filter and they sound absolutely fantastic, especially open for a bit of air to the sound. Not to knock the other filters tho since they're all viable for certain genres, but atm the black filter sounds the best in my case (listened to "Supper's Ready" with all of them and preferred black). Using the iBasso DX200 with them with the AMP 1 Module, getting a 2.5 mm to 4.4 mm adapter to use them with the AMP 4/8 Modules. Basically, absolutely worth the money and a bit of a steal if you got them during the B-Stock Summer Sale, especially since they come in pristine condition, only the outer layer cardboard for the box sleeve was a tad bit bent, barely noticeable tho and have a lot of options to customize the sound with. Big plus is that they also come with a balanced cable out for the box, which is neat for those using 2.5 mm, and even comes with a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter for normal amps.

SchizoidIt seems those who like these seem to follow the same thoughts and process. They’re amazing for my genres too. Double flange your tips are called.

LisasonictowerI actually did go back to the black filter for a while after trying the pink. Just started using the copper today and find them more to what I want from them. I ended up using the marshmallow foams that come with Campfire gear and think I have my perfect pairing as well now.

LisasonictowerStarted trying the other filters too now, and I mean, It's great to have so many options. Like for Prog/Jazz, the Black/Blue filters I really like, but for stuff like Pop/Electronic, Copper tends to give me the bass I want, same with Metal somewhat, although for that I'd probably go Black too. A great package overall. Kinda tempted to try it on my Modded Darkvoice, since they are 32 Ohm and now that my DV is tuned up it tends to play better with lower impedance headphones than stock. Either way, it's an excellent IEM. Also yeah, listened to those vids you linked, and they really feel much bigger than something a few millimeters away from your ear drum, especially opened up.

MAAD.MoNKExactly my experience. The black are versatile for my musical tastes. Predominately electronic music they are amazing, then when I switch it up to whatever else they are 95% perfect and allows me to use the bass boost on my Fiio A5 perfectly.

LisasonictowerOK so just tried it with the tube, one thing to note is that with such a low impedance, you can faintly hear the audio even with the pot turned down (Potentiometer probably doesn't fully remove the signal voltage from ground, so some of it slightly leaks by?). Overall, with the modded Darkvoice, the Bass goes down (Low Capacitance Couplings does that to low impedance, but my other cans sound even better due to this since they're high impedance) and sound stage slightly goes up as well as mid range. They don't distort in any way so they are usable, just that bass loss tho ;-; Ok Small edit, the potentiometer is actually really bad ;-;. Bought it yesterday hoping it'd sound better than the last one I installed, since it seemed to be bigger, but nope, it's really dirty even with high impedance cans, so prolly going to reinstall the old one. Good thing the IEMs made me notice it so that's an upside.

SchizoidI use an iFi IEMatch with my ZDT Jr. and CTH to help with my low impedance gear (TRX00 and Elegia, too). Works like a charm and these sound pretty good out of the ZDT. Haven't had a chance to try em with the CTH yet.

jaydunndidditYeah, that's the benefit of using Coupling Transformers/Output Transformers, flick of a switch and almost anything sticks. Also just switched the potentiometer back to one of the same type, and the one I switched it to is broken af, meaning it won't lower the volume, so now I have to open the amp again and put in another potentiometer, the one I replaced the stock one with originally, because for some reason, that pot, which was like, 6 bucks, was the quietest and best balanced pot on the planet and idk why. I tired to make the volume better, but tbh I think I got lucky af with the first pot.

SchizoidReally, the issue I'm finding with the black compared to the copper and orange are the highs. I'm not the biggest fan of that extra zing up top (FR shows these peaks) and like how they shelve and smooth out the highs while warming up the mid-range a bit. I don't find the bass to be boomy/muddy at all. It can definitely be boosted depending on filters, but the bleed and warmth isn't as bad as something like the HD 6XX.

Even looking at the FR all of 5 filters, they all are pretty much the same throughout sans their bass response. Except the orange filter. It is the only one that is "drastically" different comparatively. Black and Gold/yellow are basically the same except the black has a bit more energy in the mids and brilliance range. Pink is identical to Gold but with less bass. Blue is pretty much identical to Black but with less bass. Orange is right in the middle I suppose and the weird one in the lineup that does its own thing. These are all with the port closed. Kinda curious how much it matters when the port is opened.

jaydunndidditIs that the R1 or R1 Zenith FR. I found that site a few days ago and I thought it was for the R1, not Zenith.

LisasonictowerYeah, it is for the R1 (my bad). But, they do measure very close to the Zenith, just the filters seem to be tweaked a bit here and there and moved about. But they otherwise follow the same overall tuning as the R1:

sirkuttinWhere can you get the filters from tho without having to buy another pair of IEMs? (Also Just Saw The Price, and Damn Son). Or is there any way to mod one of the existing filters to match the Trinity's Green Filter? Also, how DOES the Trinity sound tho? I'm more of an Over-Ear guy so this is actually my first Quality IEM, since most of may amps are high impedance tubes I also tend to buy High impedance cans so this is also my first owned set of low impedance drivers. Thing about big cans is that they can be modded pretty easily without damaging the Driver (HD800 Super Dunpot and Beyond For example). I really like how the R1 Z sound tho but as @jaydunndiddit stated, while I like black the best, there tends to be a tiny bit of extra treble in it, so idk if I should mod the filter or find an equivalent filter with just with less zing. Also Pink for me has the same issue just with a little less bass than black, which is good for some tracks, but again, same issue with black, altho I do like the IEM overall tho, ngl.
