So i'll be honest i dont know much about audio however recently i started buying a bunch of iems: alpha & delta ks3's, shure tapes & fiio fa1's i also own hd 6xx's I decided to buy these cause i thought the whole interchangeable nozzle thingy looked cool, thats really the only reason. Anyway - once they arrived i decided to line up all my earphones (& used my 6xx as a baseline, expecting it to be the best) and omg to be honest i actually think i prefer these to my hd 6xxs. I havnt really played around with the nozzle thingys very much but i chucked on both of the red ones and wow so far it has been amazing. Really clean and smooth and the audio feels like its all in the "right position" in my head. I think the biggest thing ive noticed is the lyrics in songs are very clear and not muddled at all, i didnt even think that what i was listening to sounded muddled until i plugged these in and it made the other iems and hd6xx sound bad

CamookThe company name was Trinity Audio. Long story short they scammed and lied and ran off with a lot of people's money. It all happened to Head-Fi users and others. They took all that money and started a new company under IMR. https://youtu.be/l1h_XMouV7Q

Hi-FierI’m sorry for the troubles you’ve had with Trinity but IMR is a different reality. I’ve purchased several iems from them. They represent quality way above their price point and IMR has provided extraordinary excellent customer service. Read reviews of IMR and you’ll see time after time of sock popping customer service. So I can unequivocally recommend IMR and their products.

SunsetShoresThank you. I didn't lose much but others lost quite a bit. People need to know where IMR came from, their history and their foundation. People claim Bob just worked there and was an engineer and has nothing to do with what happened with Trinity Audio. When people say this apparently what they DON'T know is that Bob's wife was co-owner, same building. IMR is just a continuation of Trinity; built on the bone heap of bad customer relations and ripped off people that Trinity left behind. Go to the IMR website, you will NOT find any company history info like many companies have. No how we started, who we are, our history, who is the owner, etc. Does anyone ask why that is? No. I wonder why. Most all (honest) companies show who is the owner and their owner or founder etc. Example, Campfire Audio: https://campfireaudio.com/about/ Go to IMR: http://www.imracoustics.com Nothing, on Instagram nor Facebook either. Why?? They know what their history is and where they came from but do not want to advertise the truth. They may have good service and products but remember it's important to know who you support and if something happens down the road what to expect and or not be surprised. Some will not care I guess but should be aware nonetheless.

Hi-Fier@Hi-Fier @Camook time to Give it a rest. IMR is not Trinity. You don't know, I don't know, and BGGA doesn't know the full story of what happened at Trinity. Several years have passed and Bob and IMR have been consistently delivering home runs both in terms of the IEMs delivered and the customer service that backs them. Time to drop your vendetta. The accolades here on drop and all over headfi are the true attestation as to what customers of IMR can expect

CamookHey, even at Drop's price, the 6xx are still worth less than these (not that price means everything, but these are almost 40% of what was legitimately their retail price, not to mention at the retail even vs the HD650 these are still more valuable). Don't forget, IEMs can be as good as full sized headphones; they're just different.

CamookWhy buy a bunch of low tier iems and not go for the big boy FA9? My FA9s are totl headphones.

lokiiamiWOW. That's so expensive omg 😍👏😳 I think you will really enjoy them. I'm a hypocrite because I said why buy a bunch of Cheaper headphones and now next month I will buy the A12t, then in gonna be stuck with my fa9 + all my other iems. 😭 We are both on the journey brother, please let me know the difference when they arrive. Keep me updated, I'll keep you updated as well.

League544Forgot to mention because I'm a returned customer I was given a fantastic 50% discount . So the Semper cost only £550.

lokiiamiI've got the R1 Zenith, RAH and the EDP - all fantastic. The RAH runs circles around many IEMs in the $900 to $1200. Missed Semper because of this Corona Crap but I think you might just find your end game in them - then again, is the search for audio perfection and aural bliss ever over?

holsenI've heard comments that the RAH sounded too dark. What is your experience like with RAH?

lokiiamiDark? I'd call them deep wide clear resolving musical and airy. Once they're burned in and you've got your filter combo and tips dialed in, they're exceptional.

lokiiamiBut tips and filters make a huge difference. For me and many others, wide bore tips woke Tennmak Whirlwinds and Azla Sednas open them right up. Narrow bore tips like final E tend to deepen bass and choke treble on them.... Maybe that's where "dark" comes from.

lokiiamiThe Xelastec as Holsen says is the best in the world, and I MEAN it. I have 300+ dollars in tips, 90% of them I’ve only worn once or haven’t even worn yet. Xelastec destroys even the best bulletz (previous best). Also if you guys are looking at endgame apparently the MEST is the best in the world right now, especially in custom because of the bone driver. I’ve got the Voyager 14 coming in the mail, and when Feel is the time I’m going to get the MEST next in custom but I would have to get impressions in that will take a couple of months from now. According to many audio Youtubers these are the best ones by far, est driver headphone with a bone driver.

League544Love the MEST, never looked back. It seems to know when to make the song exciting and when should not. Seems to have a A.I. build in 😂. But seriously it's really darn good. Am now waiting for Semper hope it can outperform the MEST. 😅

holsenYou are right, after using the xelastic on red 2. It controls the bass and the highs very very well. But it's not as good on the MEST for me. I'm using their stock tips seems to suits me most

lokiiamiWow, ok, well, then, I am DEFINITELY getting the MEST... or an ar...idkk or both? Both seems more reasonable. 🙏 let me know when they arrive. My v14 still hasn’t arrived.
