Anyone know how many base filter and nozzles you are supposed to have? I have 5 sets of base filters and 6 sets of nozzles. The card which came with it shows more colours (i.e. silver and grey).
I'm no expert and only recently been afflicted by the "quest for the perfect sound " disease. I'm using a Fiio M11 and my current IEMs are the FiiO F9Pro. I hope I'll hear the price difference worth of sound improvement... If anyone has some filter combination suggestions for me to try I'd appreciate it.
KhanSWIt's 5mm Spinfit CP145. And comply is T500 but I don't recommend the T500 sound really bad as the comply foam is longer than the one provided by IMR.
Guess I got lucky, I wasn't in a rush and did the standard shipping.
I don't know your history with IMR products; but just a heads up, on a whole, they really do require 100 - 150 hrs of break in. Myself and others have experienced a sick period: initial out of the box can be impressive, then somewhere around 50 - 75 hrs., the overall playback can get thin. But by the end of the break in period, your patience is rewarded.

LGCiYes, I'm a member there (mostly a lurker) and have been burning them in since received (currently on my 14th hour lol).
Damn wish I would have known there would not have been a difference in shipping time, could have saved $30 haha but I'm too impatient.
from their website the B stock is cheaper if you are willing to deal with some scratches/maybe not stock packaging
edit- apparently they charge ridiculous shipping fees to the US at least
I stand corrected. I guess with the "non-retail packaging" and only 1 cable, the shipping has been reduced to £10
£160 + £10 (shipping) = £170 * 1.3

What aftermarket foam tips are people using, if any? I've seen Comply earphone tips mentioned... IMR is not listed as a manufacturer on the comply website so I can't use their product finder. Any other favorites?
Tacit_GreyHi, Tenmark have just released a new foam tip - Very good although adds a touch of over all warmth. They are quite short so your ear is closer to the driver which is very useful for bass light IEM's.
However I now 99% of the time ONLY use NewBee foam tips. They quite firm, quite long but don't effect the sound in a negative way. Tried pretty much all the tips out there but the NewBees are now my go to.
Im not sure the size of IMR nozzles but they can all be classed as large! Hope that helps
