Hmm these look interesting!
But it bugs the SHIT out of me when the IEM manufacturer or Massdrop doesn't list ALL of the specs! As usual, no sensitivity listed! Impedance isn't the ONLY judge of how loud the IEM's are, and sensitivity is JUST as important, if not more so than the IMPEDANCE!!!
Massdrop AND the IEM manufacturers, PLEASE start listing ALL of the specs, because it's hard to judge a particular IEM without ALL of the specs.

FOBeanIf anything, the Zen 2 will be a bit harder to push as it's impedance it 60 ohms. That's pretty high for an IEM. The Zen 4 will be much more sensitive as it's impedance is 28 ohms. Couldn't find anything on the sensitivity.

FOBeanI actually own the Zen 2 and have the Zen 4 for demo. Running them out of a 4th gen ipod touch and volume at 50% is fairly loud. Even out of a Sony ZX2 which is known to be fairly low on power, I don't find these to be needing any additional amping.

carlsanI believe so. The 2 is a great IEM. The clarity you get for "just" a dual driver is amazing. The 4 expands on this with a wider soundstage and more depth. Bass reaches deeper as well. The 2 is the brighter of the two, while the added bass gives the 4 a slightly warmer signature. On a related note, fit is great on these. Especially compared to other multi-BA IEMs, shell size is very compact with a very small profile.

jaydunndidditWhat if its sensitivity is 137dB/mW but the Zen 4's is 92dB/mW? You can't base drive-ability on the impedance alone.

HeeftyI know. I was just speculating. Kudos to the poster above for posting the box shots. 60 ohms is just high for an IEM. Just odd as the specs posted here don't match the box or their own website for the Zen 2.
