Do I Need to Lube My Keyboard Switches?

What is the price tag for this keyboard with blank keycaps and mx cherry blue switches when the drop is on sale? What is the full price of the infinity. The infinity is cheaper than the ez. But how much?
Can the PCB and the keycaps be bought seperat? So i can 3d print the case my self and safe more money. And buy the switches and the cable on aliexpress.
If the PCB of both the ergodox ez and the infinity is the same at hardware level, can the infinity be programmed to do mouse movements and clicks as well?
Can i use teensy with the infinity?
Is the PCB and the chipset of all ergodox'es the same at hardware level? The internet say's yes. So i think it is.
Can i use my C programming language to program the advanced uses?
Does the infinity use's usb3 only? I would like that.
Does the ergodox ez use's usb3 or usb2? If the ez use's usb2, than it might suffer from latency between the 2 halves.
I have a 3d printer and i am a professional programmer. (I can solder. Just saying). So don't reffer to the ez being better. I also don't mind waiting for this product. I like the idea that the lcd can be programmed to run snake and other text.

You can usually buy keycaps (black, blank or printed) from Massdrop as well when you buy the infinity, and I think they run $40-45, I don't remember. As an aside, personally, I'd never use 3D printed keycaps unless they were printed with an extremely nice 3d printer as they wouldn't be smooth.
Who said anything about the infinity and EZ being the same at the hardware level? I'm fairly certain that isn't true. For one, the infinity has a LCD screen, the EZ doesn't. I don't believe you can mimic mouse movements out of the box.
Technically, there's nothing preventing you from using the teensy with the infinity. In reality, it's not really possible. There's already a microcontroller pre-soldered on the board (actually one on each side), so you'd have to cut a bunch of traces and makes jumps from traces to your own micro. Not very feasible.
Basic PCB layout the same between most ergodoxes the same? Yes. Exact implementation, no. some are custom to a minor degree.
While I'm sure it is possible to write your own firmware if you wanted, you probably wouldn't want to. It would be an all or nothing thing. Either you write your own firmware from the ground up, or you use IC's configurator.
It uses USB2. It's on the product page. It uses a USB3 connector (USB C in v1.2) between the halves as it uses the extra pins for a UART.
There's no need to freak out over latency, that isn't an issue. Your're not transferring files, your transferring keystrokes. Large data size difference there.
You can't really play snake on the screens. They can play animations, display pictures, or turn individual pixels on or off. Edit: Unless you wanted to program it yourself from the ground up, again, including all firmware
