To a degree. Requests are only to show interest but unfortunately do nothing for activating the drop. Activating the drop depends entirely on the manufacturer.

they tend to start a new drop when the old has finished with shipping. the current drop is starting shipping on the 20th, if all goes smoothly.

So this drop started about 1-2 months after the previous one ended. This one is scheduled to ship at the end of February, so if the past is indicative of the future, the next drop should start around April
