I thought I had received two right handed cases too but everybody has. The aluminium plate is slightly different when flipped over but there is absolutely no way you can notice the difference once built. It is not visible, you actually have to touch it in order to notice a difference in smoothness and once the switches are in place you cannot even feel it anymore.
A broken acrylic case is probably due to rough handling of the parcel during transport. The inside of the package is well protected with a thick layer of bubble wrap but it has its limits. I do not think there is more to do (maybe a "fragile" label).
As always you have to realize that people who have encountered problems are almost the only ones to show up on the chat. Only a few people come here to say that everything went fine. Just try to relax and keep your fingers crossed, you are more likely to be part of those who will have received a perfectly fine package.
My problems which were not problems after all: * I thought I had received two right handed cases: it is normal * My switches (zealios) could not fit the pcb holes because of thick plastic legs: I cut them off, the official website indicates they are only required for stability when they are not mounted on a plate but we have one so it's ok * The daisy chaining was buggy the slave half would throw chaotic key presses or ignore some of them: it is a known bug of the firmware that has been corrected and you just need to update to get rid of the issue
