Hi All, I am really confused. The keyboard costs $200 without keycap? Are there any reason why I should take it instead of ergodox ez? Thanks.

A strong desire to put some of it together yourself? I think you'd be fine with either, it's just about preference. Using USB-C over mini plus a different interconnect. Then there's also the LCD screens that tell you what layer you're on. Some people think it's a gimmick, personally I think it's helpful when you have several layers.

Hi, I have waited several months for this keyboard. Now I have to wait another several months for delivery. In total it is like 8~9 months. For sure this keyboard is cheaper than the ErgoDox EZ ($30 including shipping to my home). But $30 is not a reason make me wait 9 months. I read a lot of comments on this keyboard. Some people have problems with the keyboard. On the other hand, the Ergodox Ez offer 1~2 years warranty. Anyway, I love this keyboard, just joined the drop. Can not wait for the keyboard any more.

yeah, these keyboards are not for the impatient. They are also not cheap, but after 2 days with mine, I was ready for a second at home. The longer I use it, the more I like it. I think the EZ would be perfectly fine and I really like the integrated tenting options, but I don't look the plasticky look of the EZ. That's all subjective though. Functionally, I don't think there's a whole lot of difference. I also learned that keycap profiles really matter to me :) You don't know until you know! Good luck and hopefully the time flies! If it's not moving fast enough, try having kids. 3 months is an eye blink for me.
